I’m excited to share that Make Me Sin, book two in the Bad Habit series, has finaled in the RITA® Awards, the romance genre’s highest achievement. It’s like the Oscars for romance writers! Out of 2,000 entrants, about 100 finalists are chosen in 13 categories. Make Me Sin finaled in Contemporary, Long. This is extra sweet for me because it’s my second career nomination, but the first in contemporary romance. (I finaled in 2013 with Edge of Oblivion, book 2 in the Night Prowler paranormal series.)
Make Me Sin is special to me for many reasons, but mostly because of the reader’s reaction to the book. I think I made readers cry as much as I cried writing it. Which was A LOT. It’s a story about what it means to truly love another person, and wanting what’s best for them, even if that’s not you. I’ll be attending the Romance Writers of American annual convention in Orlando Florida on July 27th, when the winners are announced.
